The CollecTin Plus or More can be left plugged in overnight, but if plugged in permanently, it will cause the boost battery in the handle to eventually fail, as all lithium batteries eventually degrade after 100's of charges.
If you wish to leave it permanently plugged in, we recommend purchasing the USB Cable for Static Installation, which replaces the boost battery.
